Reflection
Reflecting our thoughts into written word or images using art shows intention and motivation. The act of communicating to ourself is the first step to defining the world around us. Its like taking that first step as a child, we are curious, learning to keep our balance with each step, wondering if we’re going to fall. When we do fall, we learn to get back up and continue to explore the world around us. Our senses are stimulated and we begin to understand the elements of nature and how they help us breathe, smell, taste, feel, and listen. Within the discovery, we recognize experiences that keep us strong, nurtured; our life energy restored each day. The key to survival is to listen to peers who have gone before us and to learn beyond what our past experience has been. Each day is a new experience, making it necessary to use our intuition to grow toward wellness. The world around us is in transition and in turn we evolve around that transition within ourself, including how we emotionally respond to circumstances. Journal writing and art help one to compare emotions of the past with emotions of today. When there is a reset, one is able to vision and create the future they imagine to be with confidence and clarity; feeling motivated to create a place within and without that brings harmony for oneself and those around us.
